Thankful

About two months ago forever changed me, my heart, and the way I view life. It certainly isn't promised, and we must never take for granted who and what we have.

I was very vague in explaining the events that took place in the hospital during the birth of Reid. It was emotional. It was scary and eye-opening. When doctors don't know what happened (they've said what they have is an "educated guess"), God's the only answer to the outcome. Period. With that, I give my biggest THANKS and PRAISE to Our Heavenly Father for his healing hand and protection. Also, a huge thank you to my husband who is nothing less than amazing. You are Super Dad/Husband for sure! And of course, a big thank you to all of my family and friends who helped, both near and far.

Since then, everything has progressively gotten better. Parker is adjusting well for the most part, minus a few expected incidents. He loves to kiss him on his head, and lights up when Reid smiles. He will say, "Mommy, he smiled at me." It's adorable.

6 WEEK CHECKUP
Parker, Reid and I all had check ups last Thursday. I was down 37 pounds since Reid was born (Feb.7), and everything else was great. Parker had his 2-year well visit, and Reid his 2-month well visit. There were concerns that Reid's hips weren't aligned, which could cause other problems later in life. But, God is so good and the results came back just fine!
