Blessed

There are so many great things about my husband. People who know us personally know how intelligent my love is. He may hate this part of my blog, but as his wife I have permission to speak highly of him with nothing more than truth, honor, respect and love.

He is an outstanding father. The moment he gets up in the morning until he goes to bed at night, he is dedicated to playing/watching/helping with the boys. It's nonstop for the both of us, but Grant is so involved in ways that blow my mind. I have had ladies come up to me and tell me how wonderful it is to see a husband so involved. Some have admired his patience. He is giving, thoughtful and selfless. He is just amazing. End of story.

He's a great husband. He's the calm to my storms, my best friend, and my biggest supporter. His love is unconditional, and he makes me feel and know I'm his. He gives me confidence and stability. And, there's no better man in this world but him to show our boys how to love God, and how to love a wife. He's more than I deserve and I thank God for him!

And lastly, (where I originally wanted to go with this, ha-ha), he's so handy. Grant loves building, brainstorming, fixing, repairing, etc. You name it. It's in his blood. I guess he learned from his dad or the engineer in him. Probably both. His dad is very handy as well. Either way, it's a wonderful thing. Grant built the boys toy boxes, a cat box, a cat scratching post, built something you might call a moped, fixed our faucets, installed ceiling fans, repaired my iPhone, and the list goes on. He's always doing or fixing something around here.

This past Christmas I bought Parker a skateboard. It was pretty cheap, but great for Parker who knows just as much as I know about skateboards: nothing. Not a big deal, right? Apparently you can't steer well on it, and it wasn't going to be fun to use. So Grant buys a pretty decent pair of wheels and trucks at a garage sale for five dollars. Pricey, I know. Ha! I think Grant was more excited than Parker. However, he is always pretty excited about working with his tools. The moment he realizes daddy has his tools, he runs to get his. It's adorable to watch. He's already very much like daddy--
