Isn't the playroom every room in the house? It seems that way in ours. It doesn't matter how often you clean, pick up, and organize, some how toys end up in every room of the house. It's okay. We have come to terms with the fact that toys are taking over, and probably will for the next 18 years. If Grant is like his father (which it seems to be the case already), we'll have "toys" everywhere for the next 40 years.
Since convincing ourselves that toys aren't leaving for quite some time, we decided to make use of space we never used: our dining room. It is now the playroom. We have been so happy about the room, not only because Parker loves it, but because the room has gotten more use than it has since we bought the home in 2009.
